Peugeot presents New 2008 in Brazil

PEUGEOT of Brazil launches in 2008 in the domestic market and takes another important step in its brand repositioning strategy in the country. After the 208 hatchback, the new crossover is the second global model to be manufactured in Porto Real Production Centre (RJ), the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group, which reinforces the importance of the region in their operations.

The PEUGEOT 2008 was the first vehicle brand to have teams from different parts of the world involved in the project design: Brazil, France (production in Mulhouse) and China, which is also manufactured in Wuhan plant. Contemplating the 'rise of the range' of its products, aimed at more demanding consumers, the compact crossover is, first of all, the implementation of the renewal of the range Peugeot in the country, which since 2010 had the arrival of 3008, RCZ, 408, 308 and 208 models with highly innovative technological content.
