Volkswagen Amarok 2015 arrives more equipped in all versions

Volkswagen Amarok, one of the most technologically advanced small pickup trucks available in Brazil, comes to the line in 2015 with unpublished resources in its category. All versions of the utility are further equipped. The new models are already coming to more than 600 dealerships.

The top version of Highline line - which already has exclusivity in the segment as the permanent 4MOTION drive and automatic transmission eight-speed - can be equipped with bixenônio headlights with daytime running lights in LED. Other features are: electric adjustment of the beam of the headlights, front grille in gloss black with chrome double fillets and as an option, new alloy wheels of 19 inches.

The Amarok 2015 is now also the only middle pickup for sale in the domestic market equipped with fog lights with static light for conversion (cornering light), a feature that enlarges the illuminated area in corners taken at speed not exceeding 40 km / h . When the headlights are on (high or low beams) and the arrow is started or the driver turning the steering wheel, the foglamp the side corresponding to the vehicle is turning is triggered automatically. The Highline Trendline settings and 2015 have this series of technology.

Another item of comfort and convenience of the truck Volkswagen is the rear camera parking, a feature that facilitates the driver during parking maneuvers. This technology is available for the Amarok Highline together with the front and rear parking sensors.

The model line in 2015 now also have lumbar adjustment for the front seats, where the truck is equipped with side airbags.

The other settings (Trendline, SE and S) also become more equipped in line 2015. Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Match Wizard Ascent (HSA), Automatic Descent Control (HDC) and rear fog lamp now are standard items for all versions. The electrical adjustment of the headlights beam height also becomes equipment "standard" in the Amarok Trendline. Among the available options for all versions, especially the removable tow hitch.

Wide range of versions

With the arrival of Special Dark Label series, scheduled for April, the Amarok will be offered in seven configuration options between body single cab and double cab 4x4 selectable or permanent traction, manual six-speed transmission or automatic eight marches.

In the S version of the truck - offered in single cabin configurations (with 4x4 traction) and double cab (4x4 traction) - the TDI engine has a turbocharger and has power of 140 hp, which arise at 3,500 rpm. The torque is 34.7 Nm, available from 1,600 rpm.

In the SE versions Trendline, Highline and Dark Label, the TDI engine has two turbochargers, which increases its power to 180 hp. The maximum torque is 40.8 Nm at 1,500 rpm with the manual 6-gear transmission. With automatic transmission with 8 speeds (optional feature for the Trendline version and serial number in the settings Dark Label and Highline), the maximum torque is 42.8 Nm at 1,750 rpm.
